Reflection
I was introduced to web development concepts the way many people my age were - by tinkering around with the layout and colors on my teenage blog. This course gave me a new appreciation for the web design process, and how critical the design process is to the end product. I learned that a website is more than the sum of its parts, and that a well-designed site gives the user not only information, but a visual experience. Most importantly, through deep learning of the design process, I am more prepared to teach my students the what, how, and why of web development so that they may achieve their own future goals.
